Doing the V Up exercise is a good exercise to use to work your abs every other day. To do the V Up lay flat on your back with your hands and knees bent towards the ceiling. Your head should remain in a neutral position and there should be a space between your chin and your chest. You will want to lead with your chin and chest towards the ceiling. Contract your abs and bring your should off the ground. At the same time raise your legs upward and attempt to touch your hands and your feet. Finally, lay back down to the starting position. Repeat this process over and over. You should do at least fifteen reps.

A very easy workout to perform is the full sit up. This is a very exercise which is perfect to use once every other day. Once again it is a good idea to at least fifteen reps at a time. To perform this exercise, lie with your back flat on the floor with your knees bent and your hands behind your head. Your elbows should be back and out of sight. Keep your head in a neutral position with space between your chest and chin. Lead with your chin and move your upper body towards the ceiling while contracting your abs and bringing your shoulders off the ground. Bring your elbows back up until they touch your knees then lay back down to the starting position. This is the simple full sit up exercise.

Remember it is a good idea to workout your abs at least once every other day. This will help maintain your core power. Also be sure to give your abs rest. Never ever over work your abs. Doing so could lead to an injury. When selecting a exercise there are endless opportunities to choose from. Try all different types of exercises.
