How to Get a Six
Pack
The real deal - Six Pack
Abs
It is very difficult to get that perfect six pack.
For some people it is impossible because of genetics. When we
speak of six pack we are talking about the abdominal muscles or
abs. The abdominal muscles are very important because they
protect the abdominal organs; pancreas, colon, liver, appendix,
spleen, and the kidneys. With a rock hard six pack and strong
back muscles can help prevent lower back injury and pain
associated with injury. Especially with heavy lifting it is
very important. There are many exercises and workouts videos
that show you how to get a six pack. These are usually
available on the World Wide Web.

"A healthy
diet and an abdominal regime, using specific abs exercise
workout and drills you could have your perfect abs pretty
fast."
Before starting any exercise it is important to
seek the advice of an internal medicine or family
physician to make sure that you are physically capable of
performing the exercises properly without obtaining an
injury. Some people like to hire a professional trainer to
assist them with their exercises just to make sure they
are done correctly and effectively. It is very difficult
to work the abdominal muscles and obtain a six pack.
When we think of someone that has the perfect body we always
think about body builders because their muscles throughout
their entire body is well defined. They focus on the muscle
system holistically and work all of their muscles.
The abdominal muscles that make up the six pack are the
obliquus externus or external oblique muscle, obliquus internus
or internal oblique muscle, transversus abdominis muscle,
rectus abdominis muscles, and the pyramidalis muscle. These are
very noticeable or well defined on a human body builder or
weightlifter. The Latin term for the human abdomen is “belly.”
In order to get those perfect six pack or abs you will be
required to reduce your caloric intake. It is important to burn
more calories than you take in. With a healthy diet and an
abdominal regime you will have those perfect abs in no time.
You will be required to add carbohydrates, proteins, and fat to
your diet in order for it to be a healthy diet.
Six Pack Exercises
1.Crunches: Crunches are done properly by lying on the floor
or gym mat flat on your back. You will need to place your arms
across your chest. Keep your knees bent as far up as possible
toward your abdominal area. While contracting your abdominal
muscles raise your upper torso up towards your knees. Make sure
that you do not lift your entire back up off of the floor to
prevent any strain on your back. It is important as with any
exercise do deep breathing exercises. You will need to lower
back down toward the floor but not touching the ground and
start the exercise all over again. Repeat these six pack
workout sets a total of ten times or as tolerated.

2.Sit Ups: Sit ups are performed properly by
getting into starting position by lying flat on a gym mat
or floor. Bend your knees and keep your feet flat on the
floor about ten to twelve inches apart. You will need to
cross your arms across your chest.
Contract your abdominal muscles and lift your lower back up
off of the floor by using your shoulders. Slowly lower yourself
back to the floor and repeat the six pack workout about ten
times or as tolerated. If you would want a more challenging sit
up you can do it with a weighted exercise ball by crossing your
arms across the ball.
3.Leg Lifts: Leg lifts are done properly by lying flat on the
floor with your legs extended out straight in front of you.
Place your arms straight out by your side with your palms down
on the floor. Contract your abdominal muscles and lift your
legs straight up off of the floor. Do not bend your legs until
you reach a ninety degree angle. Lower your legs back down to
the floor without actually touching it and repeat the exercise
again. You will need to do this six pack workout about ten
times or as tolerated.
